A photobook that traces the relationship between craft and daily life, capturing the quiet rhythms, environments, and lived experiences of a craft community.
This project develops a photobook that weaves a visual narrative of everyday life within a craft community, focusing on the subtle and often overlooked moments that shape lived experience. Moving beyond documentation, the work uses photography as a medium to explore the emotional and cultural dimensions of craft, situating it within the rhythms of daily routines and environments.
Through a sequence of images, the photobook captures gestures, spaces, and materials, revealing how craft is embedded within the fabric of everyday life. Metaphors emerge through visual juxtapositions, reflecting the interdependence between people, place, and practice.
The publication emphasises atmosphere and continuity, presenting the village not as a static subject but as a living, evolving context. The work invites viewers to engage with the quiet depth of these moments, offering an intimate perspective on the relationship between craft, culture, and lived experience.
